Last weekend was spent at craft retreat in Batesville, Indiana, with some very creative ladies. All weekend I worked on making card toppers with my Art Impression Watercolor stamps. These stamps are colored with water soluble inks, stamped on watercolor paper, and then blended out with an aquabrush and water to give the project a painterly effect. I had a little time this week to make some into sympathy cards, but I still have quite a few that will be used for other occasions.
I love the versatility of these stamps because all the plant containers, vines, flowers, windows, animals, etc., are individual stamps and can be placed however you like to make pleasing scenes. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
Very nicely composed cards and such a beautiful choice for sympathy cards. These turned out lovely!
Thank you, Charlie!

Hi Carol,
Love the combination of these stamps on watercolor paper and then blending the water soluable inks with the Aquabrush.
You mastered this technique. Thanks for sharing.
