Again, here’s a little more info on World Watercolor Month and the mission to help young artists through The Dreaming Zebra Foundation.   This is a charity providing support so that children and young adults are given an equal opportunity to explore and develop their creativity in the arts. Thanks for stopping by!

Exotic, #WorldWatercolorGroup

Having mostly green, gray, or brown frogs in our area ponds, the coloring on this little guy strikes me as being exotic.  The red-eyed tree frog is rather commonplace in tropical rain forest settings of Mexico down to Panama, and they live hidden among the leaves of the forest.

They have suction-cupped toes to aid in climbing and hanging onto the plants, and when threatened these frogs flash their bright red eyes to scare away predators.  This cutie was a lot of fun to paint!
