World Watercolor Month 2019 – Week 2 Recap

We’ve made it through the second week. I tried to limit myself to 15 minutes or fewer to get these onto paper and had some hits and misses, but they were fun to try.

Again, here’s a little more info on World Watercolor Month and the mission to help young artists through The Dreaming Zebra Foundation.   This is a charity providing support so that children and young adults are given an equal opportunity to explore and develop their creativity in the arts. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. They are all great. But the ocean creatures is my faveourite! 🙂 I need to try the negative painting. It looks really cool 🙂

  2. Hi Mel. Thanks for your kind comments. You should give negative painting a try. I need to paint negatively with more lost and found edges, but one step at a time!

  3. It’s funny – some seem to flow right off the brush yet I struggle with others. The average is 15, but to be honest, some take me way too long. Either way, it is fun.

  4. I will! I need to get some better paper though. The one I am currently using doesnt handle more than 2-3 washes really well.
