We recently returned from a beach vacation where we enjoyed watching the dolphins swimming not too far from the water’s edge. This painting is based on a lesson from a Walter Foster book called The Art of Painting Sea Life in Watercolor, which has many enchanting sea life tutorials.

Dolphins
I took advantage of a rainy beach day to get to work and am happy with the results. I hope these playful dolphins and their facial expressions make you smile.
This is beautiful, Carol! I love the motion and colors!
