Floating, #WorldWatercolorGroup

I chose this subject because I’ve never painted a waterline like this and thought it would be a good challenge for myself.  There is so much to “see” when painting a waterline and trying to get a little movement in it.

The most difficult part was trying to get a good photo/scan of this painting.  The camera lens and scanner would not pick up the yellow the way I had painted it no matter what settings I tried, so this little ducky looks a bit washed out.  Oh well.   Happy Tuesday!
