Back for another year of World Card Making Day! Today’s cards feature a stamping technique called ghost stamping. An image is first stamped with white pigment ink and allowed to dry, and then the same image is stamped slightly offset with a dye ink. This process really adds some dimension and interest.
I tried various colors of dye inks and found that some brands definitely work better than others. I then added a white gel pen outline to define the edges of the card.
This is one of the finished cards. I added some tiny pearls to add some polish.
Off to spend some time in my crafty corner and make a few more cards. Hope you enjoy your weekend!
Love the cards – soft and beautiful!
Lovely cards!
