This watercolor picture was painted by following a tutorial created by The Frugal Crafter, aka Lindsay Weirich. This talented lady from Maine knows just about everything when it comes to crafting of any type, and I have learned a lot by watching her tutorials on her YouTube channel.
She also has some watercolor tutorials available for download from www.mygrafico.com (search for Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff), and these are nice because they have step-by-step instructions that can be printed out. The lessons are well illustrated and easy to follow – perfect for a beginner! If you want to check out Lindsay’s blog , here is a link: https://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/ Thanks, Lindsay, for sharing your knowledge and inspiring me to actually put the paint on the paper!
Have a great week and stay warm!
I love Lindsay too! She’s who got me started painting and drawing. If this is your first watercolor, I think it’s amazing!
saw some of your paintings on Jerry’s phone. You are amazing!! How long have you been doing this? Looks like years!!!
Beautiful!!
Carol, this is beautiful.
great job! Thank you for the kind words about my channel and products too!
Hi! I started playing around with watercolors last fall but it was a little discouraging. I knew I was making mistakes but didn’t know how to fix them, so I took a night class at Scarlet Oaks this winter (7 weeks long). I learned a lot and have been practicing a lot, and I still have quite a few things to learn 😉
Thanks! No, it isn’t my first but I am a newbie. I really enjoy your blog and love the beach just about as much as you do!
Aww I’m so glad to hear that! I wonder how many of us out here are Lindsay’s little ducklings? Wow, your paintings are gorgeous. Looking forward to more of your updates!
